Integrated Museum Collection Management System  

The Integrated Museum Collection Management System (IMCMS) is a comprehensive museum management system designed to streamline the diverse operational processes of a modern heritage institution. Designed for modular implementation, IMCMS tightly integrates museums' functions of collections management, documentation, exhibitions, events and donor management. Besides searching for artifact information, you can also shop for images online.

The IMCMS provides the “best-of-breed” solution that incorporates the best practices of museum collection management systems and NHB’s own expertise and experience in managing the Nation’s heritage treasures and artifacts.

IMCMS incorporates widely adopted metadata standards (Dublin Core) and taxonomies (AAT and UNESCO) for digital heritage content.
There is no upfront development cost thus lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for subscribers.
As a subscription service, IMCMS allows quick, fuss-free set-up and intuitive users interface to minimise learning time.
The IMCMS provides a versatile front-end application login over the Internet via a Citrix client. It also has a highly-secured backend database server that provides each subscribing organization its own separate database.
IMCMS is supported by a solid infrastructure of highly reliable network connection, powerful backend servers and robust yet scalable storage.
Subscribers will enjoy the services of a responsive and knowledgeable Helpdesk team.
Subscriber will have the opportunity to conduct cross-marketing of museum collections, programmes and services with NHB and other non-NHB museums.

Collection Management (MuseumPlus): This module provides real-time visibility of the inventory and helps you manage the logistics of your entire collection. You can generate inventory reports using a flexible range of search parameters and form templates.
eCommerce: This module allows the public to buy and instantly download digital images from your collection via a secure online “shopping cart” and credit card payment mechanism.
Exhibitions: This module helps you organise your exhibitions and make shortlists of your artefact selection, view their condition reports, plan the venues, print labels and develop catalogues for your exhibition.
Events: This module allows you to see calendar views of your events and print participation lists to keep track of the activities and happenings in your museum.
Address & Donor management: This module stores contact details of your donors and sponsors in addresses groups, sends them email invitations to your exhibition openings, fund raising events and galas. It also prints address labels for mailer invitations.
